Great news for all cities enthusiasts! The UKC online platform is launching in March 2023, providing an open and free digital public square environment for individuals to connect, discuss, discover and share knowledge about cities.

The platform consists of two main areas. Firstly, a members-only area where users can create a profile and showcase their personality and knowledge. They can also upload pictures, thesis, articles, and other relevant files. Members can also add labels and hashtags for better identification and link their profiles to their favorite social network to enhance connections and foster new possibilities of interactions.

Secondly, an open forum called Context where users can engage in conversations about a variety of topics. The forum includes three main categories - Main Square, Cities, and Topics - covering general topics and encouraging discussions on urban-related issues. Users can also suggest new categories or subcategories based on their interests, which will continuously evolve and expand with innovative additions, according to user preferences.
